Stainless Steel Bars

Stainless Steel BarsStainless steel bars are supplied in a variety of grades.

  • Common grades are 303, 304, 304L, 316, 316L, 431 QT, 420, 440C and 630.
  • Surface finishes are Cold Drawn, Peeled and Reeled, Smooth Turned, Peeled, Turned, Rough Turned and Centreless Ground
  • Improved machinability grades are usually supplied to our customers.
  • Sizes available in Round Bars are 2.5mm to 450mm.
  • Hexagonal and Squares Bar sizes are 6mm to 65mm.

Stainless Steel Seamless Tube, Pipe and Hollow Bars

Stainless Steel Seamless Tube, Pipe and Hollow BarsWe supply Stainless Steel Seamless Tube in a variety of sizes and grades.

  • Common grades are 304L, 316L, 321, 2205.
  • Specifications are to ASTM A312 and ASTM A511-04.
  • Sizes are available in outside diameter from are 5mm to 280mm.

Stainless Steel Wire

Stainless Steel WireStainless steel wire is available in any variety of sizes, qualities and strengths.

  • Our size range is from 0.05mm to 20mm in coils.
  • Tolerances and mechanical properties are made to customers request and are specifically made to suit the end application.
  • Applications include wires for bending and forming, shaping, welding, weaving, braiding, knitting, cold heading and springs.
  • Common surface finish available are Soft Annealed (dull finish), bright annealed and bright drawn.

Stainless Steel Spring Wire

Stainless Steel Spring Wire is supplied from a mill rolling or from our Brisbane stock.  Refer to our Spring Wire Stocklist.

  • The most common specification is Japanese standard JIS G4314 SUS 304 WPB.
  • For sizes above 4.0mm the common spec is ASTM A313.
  • The surface finishes available are Soap Coated, Nickel Coated and Bright Finish.
  • Grades are 304 and 316.
  • Size range 0.05mm to 18mm diameter.

Stainless Steel Wire Rods

Wire rods are used for re-drawing into wire.  We supply grades 5.50mm to 12mm in grades 304, 304L, 316, 316L, 321, 410, and 416.

Stainless Steel StripStainless Steel Strip

Stainless steel strips are supplied in grades 301, 304, 316, 420J2 and 420 J2 Hardened and Tempered.  These surfaces are cold rolled with 2B finish and can be polished to customers requirements.  Also edge type and hardness is normally specified by our customers.
