Bed Spring Wire

Bed and mattress makers use these wire for a variety of springs and frames for beds and seats.

• These wires are commonly in sizes 1.20mm to 4.0mm
• They are supplied on stems in high carbon spring wire grades.
• Our common standard supplied is AS2233.

Hard Drawn Spring Wire

Hard drawn spring wire is available.

• Specifications AS1472, JIS G3521, ASTM A 227, DIN 17223.
• Size range is from 0.20mm to 16.0mm

Galvanised and Coated Spring Wire

Galvanised and coated spring wire is usually supplied in heavy galvanised surface where a better corrosion resistance is required.

• Generally the size range is 0.70mm to 10mm with other sizes available on request.
• Finer sizes nickel coated are also available.

Music Wire

Music wire or piano wire is a high carbon hard drawn springwire.  Normally the carbon content is minimum 0.75% in Japanese, American and European specifications and is available upon customers' specific request.

Oil Tempered Spring Wire

Oil tempered spring wire is available in Commercial Grade, Valve Spring Wire and Induction Hardened.

• Steel grades are high carbon steel (similar to AISI1070)
• Alloy grades are Silicon & Chrome composition.
• Specifications are JIS, ASTM and DIN with sizes 0.80mm to 16mm.

Low and Medium Carbon Steel Wire

These wires are supplied to a large variety of industries and applications for wireworkers and manufacturers.

• Available in low carbon and medium carbon steel grades
• Soft condition through to hard drawn.
• All these wires are manufactured by our overseas wire mills to customers specific requirements.

Galvanised Wire

Galvanised wire is commonly supplied in “Standard Gal” which is low carbon wire that has been zinc coated by the “Hot Dipped Galvanised” method.  Other galvanised wires are “Electro Gal” and “Heavy Gal” for lighter or heavier coating applications.

Shaped Wire

These are wires that are rolled or drawn to a specific shape.  Flat wires are usually produced from round wire, while square and triangular wire can be rolled or drawn to the required shape and tolerance.  We commonly supply these grades in carbon steels and stainless steels

Steel Strip

Steel strip is cut from hot rolled coils and is generally cold rolled to a required thickness.  These strips are used by press shops for making various spring clips, guides and retainers.  Steel strip is manufactured to suit customers requirements.  They include:

• Low carbon steels,
• Medium carbon steel (AISI 1055),
• High carbon steel,
• Hardened and tempered steel strip
• Common thicknesses start from 0.40mm and finish at 3.0mm
